Training a herding dog into a real, high caliber, bona-fide working stock dog isn't easy. 

It takes countless hours of reading, listening, watching.
It takes a lot (and I mean a lot) of trial and even more error.
And there are no shortcuts. 

This blog is where I'll try to explore some of the themes, lessons, mistakes and ideas that have shaped me as I've read, listened, watched, trialed and errored. And which are still shaping my approach as it (and my dogs) evolve.
